I have to be honest, when I first considered writing an autobiographical book, I said to myself “Yeah, right.” I thought the idea was more than a little crazy. I mean, really…
But the desire to tell my story was fueled by the interest I’ve gotten from so many people who ask me to tell them my story. I meet new people online every day, and I’m excited to field all sorts of questions. Many ask about my life as a child actor on a hit television show. Some questions come from fellow writers asking me about my process. When people learn about my rescue from the side of a mountain, well…
It is an interesting story. How many people do you know have fallen down the side of a mountain and lived to tell about it? I know I’m lucky. But my story has many different dimensions. It was an adventure, in the purest form. It was also an emotionally traumatic experience. It was a game changer. A life changer.
I’ve put together twenty years of business experience, thirty (cough, cough) something years of life experience and a little bit of humor to bring you my take on a balanced life. It will take you from my early days on television, my life as a student-athlete, the introduction to my life as a writer, my first foray into the real world and more. Along the way I’ll share my thoughts about what I’ve learned or what I should have learned, and how I’ve used that knowledge to become a better person.
This book was designed as a starting point to something greater. It was designed to be the beginning of an ongoing conversation we can have together. Sharing our experiences and our lives. Learning from each other. There are a billion stories out there. Many of them are common and the emotions are shared by many. Many of them are unique, and can give us a special perspective on this thing called life.
Pick up a copy and tell me what you think. Tell a friend about it. Tell a friend about this conversation. Invite them to join us. Together we can build a place where people can see positive things happening in the world.
I wish you happiness, success and balance…
Greg

I can’t wait to read this! I want to get it on my kindle RIGHT NOW even though I know an actual copy will be here soon! I need to work on my patience…..we’ll call this an exercise in delayed gratification!
Ha ha ha! I’m excited for you to get your copy too!! I’m like a little kid peeking out the window every time I hear a big truck drive by, hoping it’s my delivery…
I think it’s worth the wait, though. Thanks again for your support!!
Ditto to what Karen said, even though I have the e-copy. I’m starting with that and I have to figure out what to do with “George” this month. I gave quite a few Georges to my daughter this month already …. that doesn’t count, huh? You’re keeping me pretty busy, Greg!!!!!
Ha ha ha…Busy is a good thing I hope! I actually “spent” a George dollar but didn’t share it. Thanks for reminding me. That will go up today!! I really hope you enjoy the book!!
Thanks, Greg. I’m ordering the Kindle version today, too. Best of luck with the sales. You were SUPPOSED to write this book. Be well and stay blessed.
“You were SUPPOSED to write this book.”
This just made my day. That is one of the most awesome compliments I’ve ever gotten. I am blessed…very blessed. Thanks Gina!
I was rereading “How Tall Are You?” and you said you’d gotten a letter where someone asked, “Which one do you play?” For what it’s worth, the Season 3 & 4 SMK credits are confusing: You and Paul are shown beside each other with you on the left and your names appear on top of each other with his first. And half the time in the later eps, Amanda addresses both of you at the same time. I know it took me ages to figure out who was Phillip and who was Jamie because I didn’t start watching till Season 4. Anyway, thought that might help the question feel a little less odd.
I appreciate the added insight. I watched the show, but fans like you are truly the experts. Wait….You were RE-reading my book?!? Love it. Gold star for you, fer shure. 🙂 It means a lot that you bought it, even more that you read it once, and then took the time to visit my site and comment? The BEST! The question still feels odd to me, but I’m a kook like that (haha). Thanks for the being a fan!!!
