Black Coffee in a Paper Cup: The Complete Poetic Works of Greg Morton

2023 | Poetry & Short Fiction

This is it. Every poem I’ve ever written and kept because, you know, some you just don’t think to keep. On occasion, I have found a piece of work needs a title to help define it. Others are not imparted with such formality. Subsequently, I pen a number of poems that simply do not have a title. One must adjudicate for themselves if the lack of a title in any way affects their interpretation of the work. Finally, unfinished poems were included in this collection if I have abandoned all measure of hope in completing them. This work includes two new short stories.

How Tall Are You?

2018 | Non-Fiction | Memoir

Before becoming an author, Greg Morton was a child. Actor. A child actor. But mostly just a child. Not that he’s much taller as an adult. Greg’s new book explores his start as a child actor in the ’80s, from performing in the living room at home for family to stage musicals and county fairs and finally, as the youngest co-star on the CBS hit Scarecrow and Mrs. King.

In How Tall Are You?, Greg draws readers into his world growing up on television, his experiences as a child in an adult business and how he dealt with bullying at home. He also pays his respect to the fans, and shares his journey with them through their fan letters. Greg’s story is his own, and his writing reflects the laughter and honesty with which he lives his life.
