  I have to say Fourth of July may be my favorite holiday. I LOVE summer, so it fits, right? 🙂 I have some ideas about a poem that captures that warm summer evening feel for the 4th, but when I sat down to write THIS poem it just seemed right for it to serve as a reminder. The celebrations are GREAT, but independence isn’t a destination. If we want to continue to enjoy it, we have a duty to maintain our way of life.
