I Don’t Ever Lose

I saw this quote the other day.

“I don’t ever lose.  I either win or I learn.”

The quote is attributed to Conor McGregor, the UFC champion and world class trash talker.  For a guy that can annihilate opponents like he does, this quote is pretty appropriate.  But I was thinking it has deeper meaning, and, if you take the quote away from a pugilist altogether, it is quite inspiring.

There is an old anonymous quote that says “You only fail if you stop trying.”  I like it, but McGregor’s quote has more punch, wouldn’t you say?  Sorry for the pun…It was just hanging there, begging for it.  Anyway, when I read both quotes, only one really burns inside.

For that, I’m adding it to my list.
