I feel like this poem might need to be clarified. Why? I’m not sure. But it’s been kicking around in my notebook for a couple of weeks, and for some reason I wanted to share it. Still not sure why. Anyway, to be clear, I get inspired sometimes by the strangest things. This poem happened to be inspired by the words a company used for a Valentine’s Day sale. Their advertisement just kind of struck me as odd, and well…here you go.
And for those of you who read the title of this poem and visited this site hoping for something a little more risque, sorry to disappoint you.
