Hanging Out with Tron

After eleven years I had the opportunity to reconnect with an old friend, Bruce Boxleitner.  The man known as Tron, Captain John Sheridan and Lee “Scarecrow” Stetson was just as I had remembered.  He was funny, engaging and generous with his time.  He is a true professional, but even more he is a wonderful man.

The man is a storyteller.

Our last get together, Fansource 2001.  With my beautiful wife and the amazing Martha Smith!

One of the earliest photos, Germany 1984.  With Paul Stout and the beautiful Kate Jackson.

As much fun as I had seeing Bruce again after all these years, the day was most certainly about the fangirls…my SMK Posse!!

Hamming it up with Susan, Toby, Dava and Karen

Amy and I, with some guy in the background…

Sweet Emily is going to let me be a part of the Nerd Herd…Yay!

Making new memories, remembering good times…

Bruce has some AMAZING things in the works.  Along with promoting the new animated series Tron: Uprising, he is also promoting a new steampunk series called Lantern City. Get in touch with him on Twitter and learn more…

  6. Looking at that picture of you on Kate’s lap, can’t help but think that she always loved you best:) No…just kidding but watching these SMK DVD’S, can’t help but see how she loved to run her hands through your hair and put her arms around you. Sure does look to me like you’re the perfect one to send out on a hunt for Kate and try to get her to the SMK reunion next year!:)

  7. Thanks for sharing the photos and memories Greg. Watching SMK now, and even seeing these photos, takes me back to very happy times during my early teens bonding with my mom while watching SMK . I’m so jealous of all the ladies who got to meet you and that other guy! 😉 Glad you had such a fun day.

    1. Elizabeth, thanks for visiting my page and taking the time to comment!! Your story about SMK is one of the biggest reasons why I’m so proud to have been a small part of such a great show. So many people look back on it with fond memories, and to this day it is making some amazing connections.
